NEW DELHI: DLF has filed an FIR towards its former CFO and MD of rental arm, Ramesh Sanka, accusing him of blackmailing the corporate to comply with his phrases on a deal to extort ₹311 crore, and threatening to misuse and leak confidential information allegedly stolen throughout his decade-long affiliation with the nation’s greatest property firm.

In response to the FIR filed at a Gurgaon police station, DLF has alleged that Sanka is threatening to trigger monetary loss and in addition to defame and malign the status of the corporate.

Sanka was in DLF’s employment from June 2004 till July 2014.

“We have now filed a grievance with Gurugram police, primarily based on which the police have registered a FIR. Contents of the FIR are self explanatory, and we now have no additional remark to supply at this stage,” a DLF spokesperson mentioned.
